Eclipse
Eclipse is when three celestial bodies fall in one staright line while moving in their own trajectories. The term is mostly associated with Solar or Lunar eclipse that can be viewed from earth.Lunar eclipse can be seen from anywhere in the world whereas a Solar eclipse can be viewed from only certain parts of the world.
So when the sun, moon and the earth fall in one line, one of the most interesting cosmic phenomenon occurs which is known as eclipse. In India, eclipse is greeted differently. It is considred to be a bad omen.It is supposed to bring misfortunes like wars, floods or some personal bad luck, etc etc.Now amongst some of the things that are done as a customary in India during the eclipse are food is neither eaten nor cooked. All food cooked before eclipse is thrown away.People take a dip in water bodies and chant mantras to ward of the evil effects of eclipse.Pregnant women are not supposed to go out during eclipse. And as soon as it is over people take bath again, clean their kitchen and visit temples to pray and give away food grains like rice, wheat or seasame seeds in charity.Marriages and journeys are strictly prohibited during eclipse.
But if you have a look at the wonderful spectacle this event provides you will be bedazzled.I will admit I have never seen it myself owing to so many restrictions at home, but of whatever I have been able to see through pictures on newspapers or video clips on the television , I am sure it is one of those amazing things of nature to watch. With this, I resolve to capture this once in my lifetime through my own eyes, hopefully one day. This enchanting sky or universe has always been and will always be a source of mystery and curiosity, inspiration and energy providing you with some spell bound moments and sometimes will even fill you with fear of not knowing the vast, infinite, boundaryless ocean of stars. But whatever may be, I feel it has always been successfull in casting its spell on most of us:-)

You have a good style of writing, very simple language and yet it creates a pen picture. You would make a good writer of stories involving emotions. Hope to read more in days to come. Best wishes.
